Excellence College of Health & Safety Engineering (ECHSE)

Effective date: 06 February 2026
Last updated: 06 February 2026

This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains the conditions under which Excellence College of Health & Safety Engineering (ECHSE) (“ECHSE”, “we”, “us”, “our”) may provide refunds, transfers, or cancellations for training programmes and related services. This policy forms part of our Terms of Service.

1) Policy Principle

ECHSE maintains clear and fair refund rules while protecting operational costs, trainer commitments, and payments made to external awarding bodies and service providers.

2) No Refund After Programme Start (Strict Rule)

Once a programme has started, no refund will be provided under any circumstances.
A programme is considered “started” if any of the following occurs (whichever is earliest):

  • the first session has commenced (classroom or live virtual); or
  • LMS access has been issued/activated; or
  • course materials have been released; or
  • assessments/exam booking has been initiated for the learner.
3) Before Programme Start — Refund Eligibility

If the programme has not started, a refund request may be considered, subject to the conditions below.

3.1 Non-Refundable Awarding Body / External Fees
If ECHSE has already paid any amount to an awarding body, examination body, certification partner, platform provider, or any external service provider on your behalf, that paid amount is strictly non-refundable.
Examples of non-refundable external costs include (where applicable):

  • registration/enrolment fees paid to an awarding body
  • examination booking fees
  • certification processing and verification charges
  • external LMS/platform licensing fees allocated to your enrolment
  • courier/printing fees for certificate dispatch (if arranged)

3.2 Administrative Charges (ECHSE Costs)

Where a refund is approved before programme start, ECHSE may deduct reasonable administrative costs (e.g., processing, admissions work, banking charges, payment gateway fees, and documentation handling).

4) Transfers and Batch Changes (Recommended Option)
  • If you cannot attend your scheduled batch before the programme starts, ECHSE may offer a transfer to the next available batch (subject to seat availability) instead of a refund.
  • Transfer requests must be submitted in writing.
  • External/awarding body fees already paid remain non-refundable and may apply to the new batch as per awarding body rules.
5) No-Show / Late Arrival
  • If you fail to attend without prior written notice, it will be treated as a no-show and no refund will be provided.
  • Significant late arrival may result in refusal of entry to maintain learning quality and assessment integrity; no refund will apply.
6) Payment Method and Refund Timeline

If a refund is approved:

  • refunds will be processed using the original payment method wherever feasible;
  • bank/payment gateway charges are non-refundable;
  • processing timelines may vary depending on banks and payment providers.
7) ECHSE Rescheduling or Cancellation

ECHSE reserves the right to reschedule a programme due to operational requirements (e.g., trainer availability, minimum class size, technical constraints). In such cases, ECHSE may offer one of the following:

  • transfer to an alternative date/batch; or
  • credit note for future training; or
  • refund excluding any non-refundable external/awarding body payments already made on the learner’s behalf.
8) How to Request a Refund or Transfer

Requests must be submitted in writing with:

  • learner full name
  • programme title and batch date
  • proof of payment
  • reason for request
  • Email: info@echsafetyengineering.com
  • ECHSE will review the request and respond with a decision based on this policy and programme-specific terms.
9) Fraud, Misrepresentation, or Policy Breach

No refund will be granted where cancellation relates to:

  • forged/false documents or misrepresentation;
  • academic misconduct or policy violations;
  • identity concerns or security issues.
10) Policy Updates

ECHSE may update this policy as needed. The latest version will be published on our website with the “Last updated” date.
