Overview

IOSH Working Safely® is a globally recognised entry-level safety and health programme designed for all workers—across all industries and job roles. It provides practical, easy-to-understand knowledge that helps learners recognise workplace hazards, understand common risk exposures, and adopt safe behaviours that prevent injury, ill health, and operational disruption.

The programme focuses on building strong day-to-day safety awareness—supporting organisations to standardise baseline competence, strengthen participation in safety practices, and promote a positive safety culture where everyone understands their role in preventing harm.
