IOSH Managing Safely® is IOSH’s widely recognised safety and health programme for line managers, supervisors, and team leaders across all sectors. It is designed to strengthen day-to-day operational control—enabling managers to understand what effective safety leadership looks like, recognise risk exposure early, and apply practical controls that prevent harm and protect business continuity.
The programme is built to develop real workplace competence rather than theoretical knowledge. It helps organisations establish consistent management standards for hazard recognition, risk decision-making, incident learning, and performance assurance—supporting a stronger safety and health culture across teams and sites.
